911 Day. The mission of 9/11 Day is to transform the annual remembrance of 9/11 into a worldwide day of unity and doing good, and to encourage millions of people to remember and pay tribute each 9/11 through good deeds that help others and rekindle the extraordinary spirit of togetherness and compassion that arose in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy.

America Forward. America Forward is the Washington, DC-based nonpartisan policy initiative of national venture philanthropy fund New Profit that seeks to break down barriers between all people and opportunity in America. Its mission is to unite social entrepreneurs with policymakers to advance a public policy agenda that champions innovative and effective solutions to our country’s most pressing social problems.

American Constitution Society A, ACS, with hundreds of student and lawyer chapters cross the nation, works to realize the promise of the U.S. Constitution by building and leading a diverse legal community dedicated to advancing and defending democracy, justice, equality, and liberty; to securing a government that serves the public interest; and to guarding against the abuse of law and the concentration of power.
 
Annie E. Casey Foundation
The Annie E. Casey Foundation is devoted to developing a brighter future for millions of children at risk of poor educational, economic, social and health outcomes. The Foundation’s work focuses on strengthening families, building stronger communities and ensuring access to opportunity, because children need all three to succeed.

AVID
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a nonprofit that changes lives by helping schools shift to a more equitable, student-centered approach. AVID trains 85,000 educators annually to close the opportunity gap, so they can prepare all students - especially students traditionally underrepresented in higher education - for college, careers, and life.

Biden Foundation
The Biden Foundation built upon Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden’s lifelong commitment to protect and advance the rights and opportunities of all people through educational programming and public policy analysis. 

Bloomberg Philanthropies
Bloomberg Philanthropies encompasses all of the charitable giving for founder Michael R. Bloomberg, the 108th mayor of New York City. Mayor Bloomberg’s entrepreneurial spirit, public policy experience, and belief in the power of cities to take action help define Bloomberg Philanthropies’ approach to driving change. 

Cities of Service
Cities of Service helps mayors build stronger cities by changing the way local government and citizens work together. It helps coalition cities tap into the knowledge, creativity, and service of their citizens to help identify and solve critical public problems. Cities of Service supports a coalition of more than 280 cities, representing over 84 million people across the Americas and Europe.

The William J. Clinton Foundation
The mission of the William J. Clinton Foundation is to strengthen the capacity of people in the United States and throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence.  

Code for America
Code for America builds open source technology and organizes a network of people dedicated to making government services simple, effective, and easy to use. The Fellowship is its best known program and consists of a one year residency placing developers, designers, and researchers within local governments.  

Equal Justice Works
Equal Justice Works is dedicated to creating a just society by mobilizing the next generation of lawyers committed to equal justice. To achieve this, they offer a continuum of opportunities for law students and lawyers that provide the training and skills that enable them to provide effective representation to underserved communities and causes.

Freedom House Freedom House works to defend human rights and promote democratic change, with a focus on political rights and civil liberties. Freedom House acts as a catalyst for freedom through a combination of analysis, advocacy, and action.

Harvard Lampoon
The Harvard Lampoon is an undergraduate humor publication founded in 1876 by seven undergraduates at Harvard University. Today the Lampoon publishes five issues of the magazine a year, and occasionally publishes humor books and parodies of national magazines. 

Harvard University, Institute of Politics
A memorial to President John F. Kennedy, the Institute of Politics' mission is to unite and engage students, particularly undergraduates, with academics, politicians, activists, opinion leaders and policymakers on a non-partisan basis; to stimulate and nurture their interest in public service and leadership; and to inspire them to become engaged in civic and political life. 

The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation
The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation supports the work of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum whose core function is to collect, preserve, and make available for research the documents, audiovisual material and memorabilia of President Kennedy, his family, and his contemporaries.  The Foundation directly sponsors programs and activities that help people understand the major challenges facing democracy today; that inspire current and future generations to political participation and public service; and that promote debate and discussion of issues at the heart of contemporary democracy that relate to the legacy of President Kennedy.

The Levine Institute for Holocaust Education, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
The Levine Institute is the world’s preeminent institution promoting quality Holocaust education, reaching approximately 15 million people worldwide each year. Through traveling exhibitions, multilingual educational resources and digital outreach, public programs, campus outreach, and training for educators and leaders, the Levine Institute ensures that the history and lessons of the Holocaust remain relevant to new generations, stimulating critical thinking and responsible civic engagement.

Murmuration. Murmuration transforms how political campaigns, advocates, and organizers identify, engage, and mobilize people and communities. Its focus is on driving change and accelerating progress toward a future where every child in America has the opportunity to benefit from a high-quality public education.

National Women's Law Center The NWLC fights for gender justice—in the courts, in public policy, and in our society—working across the issues that are central to the lives of women and girls. NWLC uses the law in all its forms to change culture and drive solutions to the gender inequity that shapes American society and to break down the barriers that harm everyone—especially women of color, LGBTQ people, and low-income women and families. For nearly 60 years, NWLC has been on the leading edge of every major legal and policy victory for women.
 
New Profit New Profit is a venture philanthropy organization that backs breakthrough social entrepreneurs who are advancing equity and opportunity in America.

Playworks
Playworks believes in the power of play to bring out the best in every kid. Playworks creates a place for every kid on the playground and works to see that every child takes this positive experience back to the classroom and back to their communities. 

Points of Light
The Points of Light Global Network includes innovative volunteer-mobilizing organizations who serve more than 250 cities across 37 countries around the world. The Network offers creative, impactful and inspiring ways for people to take action and engage in their communities.

The Presidio Institute/Presidio Trust
The Presidio's historic Fort Scott district, once a training ground for Army troops, provided the backdrop for an initiative focused on growing America’s next generation of leaders.  The Presidio Institute, a project of the Presidio Trust, brought together the best thinking from America’s traditions of service – including military service, civic and public service, and philanthropy – to “cross train” professionals capable of tackling 21st century challenges.

Save The Children Action Network SCAN is the political advocacy arm of Save the Children. SCAN focuses on building bipartisan support to make sure every child has a strong start in life.

Success Academy Charter Schools Success Academy is the largest and highest-performing free, public charter school network in New York City, operating 47 schools and serving 20,000 students.
